Thank you,
See you next Summer!

Installation Art

This project is to deliver our thanks to lifeguard stands at Kew and Woodbine beaches in Toronto, Canada for their services during summer. The stands are provided with winter coats to stay warm and withstand cold wind so visitors cannot see them directly. However, the bright red structure lives vividly in visitors' minds with all good memories with friends and families.

Materials of Warm Hug:

Inspired by tree warming practices across the world, the coats are made out of straw blankets tied to a wood frame. These blankets will be reclaimed and reused for erosion control around the beach.
